You do need a little more space behind your drive to fit this in your computer, but it's much better put together and looks a lot nicer and cleaner.

Perfect replacement for my old SCSI setup. The gold-plated contacts ensure solid connectivity, and the edge mount fits precisely on the PCB. Works flawlessly in a tight industrial control board.

Great build quality for a connector at this price. Steel shell with nickel finish feels durable, and it handles high-density packaging well. One pin was slightly bent on arrival, but otherwise excellent.
